Arrest made in Chinatown Pho restaurant fight

Police have made an arrest in connection with Saturday’s plate-throwing brawl in Chinatown.
The fight broke out at 3:30 a.m. at Pho Xe Lua restaurant, near Spadina Ave. and Dundas St. W.
At least six people dressed in Halloween costumes began throwing punches after a menu was thrown across the table. A man allegedly threw a plate across the room, hitting a woman square in the face.
Toronto police spokesperson Const. Tony Vella said a man surrendered to police Friday morning.
The two-minute fight was captured on video (see below), and has gained more than 500,000 hits on YouTube. (WARNING: violent content, contains profanity. YouTube offers restricted access to the video.)
A woman in her 20s sustained cuts to her face and required medical attention. A waitress who tried to break up the fight was unharmed.
Aenoy Vilaysane, 28, of Burlington is charged with assault with a weapon and weapons dangerous. He was scheduled to appear in court Friday.
