美国电视界好像就是学不到教训。去年美国广播公司电视网(ABC)「吉米金莫直播秀」(Jimmy Kimmel Live)的「杀光所有中国人」仇华言论风波尚未善了，哥伦比亚广播公司(CBS)13日在其喜剧影集「老爸老妈的浪漫史」(How I Met Your Mother，又译「追爱总动员」)又出现辱华造型，遭到亚裔排山倒海般的抨击，迫使制作人15日赶紧在社群媒体推特(Twitter)道歉。
这部个于2005年推出的喜剧影集很受欢迎，现在进入第九季，预定3月31日播出最后一集，完美收场，但却在13日播出的这一集背上「种族歧视」骂名。它用搞笑方式向功夫电影致敬，让剧中三个白人主角全部化装打扮成「黄面孔」，呈现白人心目中的亚裔刻板造型(像是早年的「傅满洲」)，立即引起华裔和亚裔极大的反感，纷纷在「推特」上开骂。
13日播出的该剧，为向功夫致敬，却由白人扮成刻板印象的亚裔，剧中数名演员穿唐装、留八字胡、说着生硬的英语、口嚼面条、啜饮茶水，还用筷子杀死苍蝇。
这一集刚刚播完，激烈反应立即排山倒海而来，网友为它贴上「我如何见识种族歧视」(HowIMetYourRacism)的讥讽标签，展开骂战。一名韩裔人士写道：「亮出黄面孔不会改善收视率，只会让人杯葛贵电视台。」还有人推文：「有人说，亚裔反应过度，请搞清楚，要求别人给予尊重，绝对不是反应过度。」还有一名推客损道：「真有你的，连雇用亚裔演员都省了。」
少数推客表示，此事没有什么大不了，不必当真，但鉴于势头不妙，制作团队高级主管决定「投降」，由共同制作人贝斯(Carter Bays)出面在推特撰文道歉。他说：「13日播出的这一集，我们本想用搞笑方式向我们喜爱的功夫电影表示敬意，但结果却冒犯了他人。我们深感抱歉，并感谢每一位坦率表达意见的人，让我们有所警惕。」

Titled "Slapsgiving
3: Slappointment in Slapmarra," the episode began with the show's main characters,
Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris)
and Marshall Eriksen (Jason Segel),
seated in a bar as Segel's character explains how he underwent yearlong
training in Shanghai, China to learn how to properly deliver a slap to Stinson.
The show then included
three "masters" -- played by cast members Alyson Hannigan, Cobie
Smulders and Josh Radnor (the latter complete with a
Fu Manchu mustache) -- who taught him the art of the epic slap. The episode was
so offensive to some that viewers used the #HowIMetYourRacism hashtag to air
their grievances.

Bays responded to the backlash Wednesday, Jan. 15, tweeting on behalf
of showrunner Craig Thomas as well: "With Monday's
episode, we set out to make a silly and unabashedly immature homage to Kung Fu
movies, a genre we’ve always loved," he wrote. "But along the way we
offended people. We're deeply sorry, and we’re grateful to everyone who spoke
up to make us aware of it."
"We try to make a
show that's universal, that anyone can watch and enjoy. We fell short of that
this week, and feel terrible about it," Bays added. "To everyone we
offended, I hope we can regain your friendship, and end this series on a note
of goodwill."
